During this three hour workshop I will show you how to create a stoneware vase or jug using the slab building technique. I will glaze, fire and return your finished products to you.

About the event
Come and make a stoneware vase or jug in a relaxing and friendly environment. I will guide you through the process of slab building and using natural foliage to create a decorative surface. I will add an oxide of your choice to enhance your decoration and glaze the inside with a clear glaze.
All materials will be provided and following the workshop your work will be fired and glazed by me and ready for collection approximately 3 weeks later.
These relaxed workshops for up to nine people will take place upstairs at Schmidt Kitchens, 71 High Street, Brentwood, CM14 4RW.
Suitable for adults 16+
Please note: shorter nails are advised as long nails can be awkward when working with clay!
Coffee/tea/juice/cake provided.
